Shipping Policy

At Better Salon Supplies, we aim to process and despatch all orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. The information below outlines how we handle, ship, and deliver orders, based on our Terms & Conditions and current delivery processes.

 

Handling & Despatch Times

2nd Class Service

  • Orders placed using our 2nd Class service require 2–3 working days handling time prior to despatch.
  • Once processed, orders will be shipped using one of our partnered couriers.

 

Next Day Service

  • Orders placed before 1pm and where all items are in stock will be despatched on a next working day service.

  • Orders placed after 1pm, placed on Fridays, or containing out-of-stock items will be processed the next working day.

  • Next Day Delivery runs Monday–Thursday.

    • Orders shipped on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday.

  • Bank Holidays are not counted as working days. Orders will be despatched on the next working day.

 

Delivery Process

  • Once customers have selected their preferred shipping method, orders are despatched using one of our partnered courier services.

  • Deliveries are made to the address provided at checkout.

  • If customers make changes to the delivery via courier notifications (e.g., leave with neighbour, leave in safe place, change address), the customer assumes full responsibility for any resulting loss or damage.

  • Better Salon Supplies will send an email confirming that your order has been despatched. This email constitutes acceptance of your order and includes details of the goods and estimated delivery times.


Delivery Confirmation & Issues

  • If we receive no communication from you within 2 days of delivery, the goods will be deemed to have been received in full working order.

  • If goods appear damaged on delivery, please sign the delivery note as “damaged” and notify us within 24 hours.

  • Incorrect items or faults on delivery must be reported within 2 working days.

 

Delivery Delays

  • Once shipped, delivery times may be affected by courier delays, which are outside the control of Better Salon Supplies.

  • While we cannot be held responsible for courier delays, we will always assist in tracking and resolving issues wherever possible.


Delivery Areas

Standard delivery is available to UK Mainland only.

Areas requiring additional shipping charges include:

  • Scottish Highlands

  • Northern Ireland

  • British Isles (including Jersey & Guernsey)

  • Republic of Ireland

The Website does not currently support orders from outside the United Kingdom.

Risk & Ownership

  • Risk in the goods passes to the purchaser upon delivery.

  • Title to the goods remains with Better Salon Supplies until full payment has been receive

 

Furniture & Direct from Supplier Items

  • Furniture and certain items are dispatched according to the supplier’s own terms and conditions.

  • Delivery dates for these items are estimates only and may vary based on the supplier’s production and dispatch schedules.

  • Better Salon Supplies cannot be held responsible for delays caused by third-party suppliers.

  • We strongly recommend contacting us prior to ordering furniture or direct-despatch items to confirm current lead times.

 

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs vary depending on the service selected and the nature of the goods.

  • For faulty or transit-damaged items, Better Salon Supplies covers return shipping costs.

  • For unwanted goods or customer error, the purchaser is responsible for return shipping and a 10% restocking charge will apply.
